FIFTHQTR considers community sports clubs as the most important core fabric of our game. We have so much to thank club volunteers for their ongoing, selfless commitment in time, money and effort to support the local community and players to run out on the field every game.
We know that improvements can be made at the grass roots level. From concussion incidents to player welfare. FIFTHQTR would like to support local clubs where we can. We will act as an advisory group, sharing our experience, knowledge and established professional network to improve the game at grass roots levels.
We will provide access to professional experts and relevant information to assist local clubs to in provider a safer and more nurturing environment for all involved.
And we will give them a voice when required.
Services to Community Sports Clubs:
- Links to best practice club procedures and polices
- Up to date Concussion findings and procedures
- Relevant website links etc
Access to FIFTHQTR Community Sports Clubs Ambassadors:
- Attend Training and committee meeting to advise on relevant issues
- Share experiences and knowledge
- Others
Act as an Advisory / Voice agent for change for Local Club issues:
- Club medical insurance ( potential link with media, influences )
- Link with specialised support services for:
- Solutions for Social issues
- Solution for employment for players etc
- others
FIFTHQTR will implement:
- Establish a FIFTHQTR Community Sports Clubs Subcommittee of local club representatives ( ie presidents, committee members , other stakeholders)
- Ask feedback from members how we can assist them and what are their main concerns
- Establish club data base to send our regular information etc
- Send out 1/2 year feedback questionnaire on issue to address
