How You Can Help
As you may be aware, the purpose of the FIFTHQTR Foundation is to support AFL, AFLW and community athletes maintain positive mental and health and wellbeing as they transition from and retire from sport.
Currently the FIFTHQTR Foundation is identifying how volunteers can best contribute to its aims of objectives. In response, the FIFTHQTR Foundation is seeking to create a register of those people who would like to be a FIFTHQTR Foundation volunteer.
Consequently if you are interested in volunteering and would like to be added to the register simply send an email to info@fifthqtr.org.au provide your details and tell us how you would like to help.
In time, a more structured process will be applied to those seeking to assist the FIFTHQTR Foundation. You will be able to get involved by either volunteering for a role or by donating to the FIFTHQTR Foundation. To donate, which you can do now, you can view our Donation Information page on this website in the knowledge that the FIFTHQTR Foundation has Deductible Gift Recipient Status.
You will be able to volunteer by completing a Volunteer Application Form and submitting it to info@fifthqtr.org.au. Upon receipt the application will be reviewed by the Volunteer Committee and you will be contacted by a FIFTHQTR Foundation representative to advise you of the outcome of the application and discuss the type of roles that you may like to undertake.
You should also be aware that all members and volunteers will have obligations and rights which will be contained in the Volunteer Information Guide (Guide). There is a link to the Guide below, but it will also be provided upon applying to be a volunteer. All volunteers must understand their obligations and rights and will be required to acknowledge understanding upon review. Depending on the role volunteers would like to perform a working with children check will also be required.
