ABOUT US

The FIFTHQTR Foundation was created in 2021. We are a public company limited by guarantee and are a registered Australian Charities and Not for Profits Commission (ACNC), public benevolent institution Health Promotion charity.

The core purpose of the FIFTHQTR Foundation is to provide support to past AFL, AFLW and community athletes. This contributes to positive mental health and wellbeing and enables a successful transition from sport.

The FIFTHQTR Foundation is managed by a Board of Directors (Board) elected and appointed by members, while the day-to-day management of the foundation is the responsibility of the Operations Director. The Operations Director is accountable to the Board, while individuals appointed to roles within the operational structure are qualified and experienced in their field.

Governance of the foundation is managed through specific policies and procedures designed to ensure not only operational and managerial prudence, but also compliance to regulatory obligations.
